PyroGuard Booster Pumps

BOOSTER PUMPS

In cases where the available plant water pressure is not sufficient (minimum 70 psi) at the extinguishment valve DURING EXTINGUISHMENT, a pressure booster pump is required. The Clarke's PyroGuard Booster Pump has been designed to operate inline with the plant spark detection extinguishment system and automatically boost up and maintain the residual water pressure in the event of an extinguishment activation.  The sizing of the Booster Pump unit (referring to the number of tanks) is determined by the extinguishment requirements as calculated by Clarke's Engineering Department and comes in 52 U.S. gallon increments. Two booster pump sizes are standard and cover most applications.

Capable of boosting water pressure 90 PSI above inlet.

 PLC controlled operations

Solid State class 10 motor overload protection.

Low pressure and water flow interface to PyroGuard console.

 Pump trouble monitoring.

 Over pressure relief valve.

Inlet water pressure monitoring with pump shut down feature to protect the pump.

Two standard sizes. CPB-52 (One Tank) and CPB-104 (Two Tanks).

Automatic purge system with 24 hour time clock for automatic purge set up.

H.O.A. (hand-off-auto) switch allows for manual and automatic operations.

 Two year warranty.
