 The PyroGuard AL sensor is an Ambient Light Sensor that is typically used in drop chutes where
material is transferred. Unlike the HT and LP sensors the AL sensors will tolerate daylight The AL sensor mounts to the pipe using a Sensor Mounting Adapter (SMA) for easy removal. With the
SMA the AL sensor mounts securely to the duct using rubber "O" rings spaced inside the SMA to grip the machined sensor lens cover. No brackets or clamps are required for mounting. All AL
sensors are housed in a cast aluminum enclosure with water tight seals and quick disconnect pigtails.
