What is PyroGuard?
PyroGuard is a division of Clarke's Industries, Inc. based out of the United States in Eugene, Oregon. We specialize in the manufacturing, repair and service of Spark Detection And Suppression Equipment. The PyroGuard system is used to detect sparks traveling though pneumatic conveying ducts and extinguish these sparks before they can create large fires in factories and/or production facilities. Our primary market place is the wood products industry, however, we supply equipment to a variety of customers involved in all kinds of industrial processes.
How long has PyroGuard been around?
Clarke's Industries, Inc has been involved with Spark Detection And Suppression Equipment since 1979. From 1979 until 1989 Clarke's was the North American reseller for the GreCon Brand of Spark Detection and Suppression Equipment. Through those years, Clarke's gained vast experience and expertise in the Spark Detection field and began making plans to design a whole new line of Spark Detection Equipment. In 1990 Clarke's developed PyroGuard, the most advanced state of the art Spark Detection And Suppression System ever created at that time. Soon sales began to surge and through the 90's, with superior design, sales engineering, customer service, and technical support, Clarke's became a leader in the Spark Detection industry, a position they hold today. *See special note at bottom of this page.

Our service includes, sales and design of systems, commissioning of systems after new installation, complementary technical phone or email support for the life of the system, full service repair of all components (sensors, extinguishment units, cards etc), field service and/or on site training.
Does PyroGuard only support their own equipment?
PyroGuard also services and supports GreCon BS/6 Spark Detection And Suppression Equipment. This includes the GreCon BS/6 Spark Detection And Suppression Consoles and all internal components, GreCon FM 1/6, FM 3/6 and DLD 1/6 Sensors. Our service for this equipment includes, sales of reconditioned BS/6 consoles, sales of reconditioned FM 1/6, 3/6 and DLD 1/6 sensors, sales of reconditioned BS/6 console cards, commissioning of newly installed reconditioned systems, complementary technical phone or email support for the life of the system, full service repair of all BS/6 components (sensors, extinguishment, cards etc), field service and/or on site training. *See special note at bottom of this page.
